Saturday's Sweet Recipe

Haven't made these in awhile and I was excited to come across the recipe again. Great for a brunch or just an afternoon treat. My grandma loved it with her coffee! Enjoy!

Raspberry Bars:

1 c softened butter
2 egg yolks
1 t vanilla
1 c sugar
2 c sifted flower
1 1/2 c raspberry jam

Cream the butter and sugar together and then add the egg yolks. Next add flour and vanilla. Then place half of the dough in a 9x13 pan. Spread the jam over the dough evenly. Sprinkle the remainder of the dough on top. Bake in the oven at 350 for 25 minutes. Cut into small bars to serve.
